Job summary

Coma Coffee Roasters in Mahomet, IL seeks an on-site shift supervisor to manage all restaurant operations when the General Manager is off duty. You will lead a small team, ensure fast service, and maintain world-class customer care while keeping the workspace clean and organized.

This role focuses on training staff, delegating tasks, cash handling, and upholding safety and quality standards during busy shifts. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
• Strong math abilities including percentages.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.
• Able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manages a staff of approximately three to 15 employees.
• Provides on-the-job training for all employees.
• Delegates and is responsible for ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning and paper supplies for the unit to ensure a minimum loss from waste and theft.
• Assists in the supervision of preparation, sales and service of food.
