Job summary

Coma Coffee Roasters in Illinois is seeking Crew Members to greet customers, provide world‑class service, and craft fast, accurate sandwiches while upholding sanitation standards.

You will take orders, operate the cash register, handle phone orders, and ensure every guest leaves with a positive impression.

This role requires English fluency, basic math for change, standing for long periods, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; a friendly, energetic demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently and clearly.
• Ability to use basic math for making change and understanding fractions.

Responsibilities

• Make fast, accurate and consistent sandwiches.
• Comply with all portion sizes, recipes, systems and procedures.
• Must pass sandwich test at end of first two weeks and future tests.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including tables, floors, windows, beverage station and restrooms.
• Greet customers, take orders, operate cash register, collect payments and make change.
• Execute genuine greetings and farewells.
• Take telephone orders and complete delivery tickets.
• Fill out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code.
• Display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all duties.
• Perform other related duties as required.
