Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Portage, Michigan, to lead critical restaurant operations alongside the General Manager. You will supervise employee training, food safety, and inventory management while driving performance and guest satisfaction.

Key duties include hiring, training, and scheduling staff to meet sales and profit goals, delivering memorable guest experiences, and ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained in all areas of the restaurant.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience leading, motivating and/or developing others or US Military service.
• Strong customer service and support focus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs; and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results.
• Directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in Kitchen, People and Service.
• Partner with restaurant team to ensure safe and efficient operations.
