Qdoba is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager. The role focuses on a people and guest-centric culture, delivering exceptional service and food quality while adhering to brand standards.

You will participate in hiring, training, coaching staff, and managing costs, while ensuring compliance with labor laws. The position requires leadership in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to the brand values.

Qualifications

• Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication; highly motivated and organized.
• Able to take direction from higher-level positions; demonstrates integrity.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, coaching, training, and motivating staff; fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager with hiring, selection, and training efforts.
• Train and develop restaurant staff; ensure training systems are followed.
• Assign activities and tasks.
• Comply with state and federal labor laws and regulations.
• Manage daily operations to achieve excellent restaurant performance.
• Ensure guest service and food quality in adherence with brand and safety standards.
• Use management tools to analyze operational and financial performance.
• Identify trends and implement improvement actions.
• Focus on long-term sales growth initiatives to drive profitability.
• Monitor costs and adherence to budget and goals.
