Job summary

Qdoba in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager to support restaurant operations alongside the General Manager. The role focuses on developing a people- and guest-centered culture, delivering outstanding service and food quality while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

The candidate will assist with recruiting, training, and developing the team, manage daily activities, and monitor performance to drive guest satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to comply with state and federal laws.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years QSR experience with at least 1 year in a leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with recruitment, selection, and training of new hires.
• Lead staff development and training programs to ensure procedures are followed.
• Assign tasks and monitor daily activities for operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws and brand policies.
• Drive guest service quality and food safety in line with brand standards.
• Analyze performance metrics with the GM to improve operational and financial results.
• Identify trends and implement action plans to grow sales and profitability.
• Protect brand image by maintaining cleanliness and service quality.
