Job summary

Qdoba is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee restaurant operations alongside the General Manager. The role focuses on building a people- and guest-centric culture, ensuring top-tier service and food quality while complying with policies and regulations.

You will help recruit, train, and develop staff, supervise daily activities, analyze performance data, and implement improvements to sustain brand standards and profitable growth. Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years QSR experience with at least 1 year in a leadership position.
• Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication; highly motivated and organized.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assists the General Manager with recruitment, selection, and training.
• Supports staff development and ensures training systems are followed.
• Assigns activities and tasks to team members.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal labor laws.
• Manages daily operations to deliver excellent guest service and food quality.
• Maintains brand standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and service.
• Uses management tools to analyze restaurant performance and identify trends.
• Drives long-term sales growth and cost-conscious decisions.
