Job summary

Zax LLC in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking an Assistant Manager to ensure guests receive great experiences while upholding standards. You will manage daily restaurant operations, train and coach teams, and ensure policies are followed.

Open availability with 5 days and 32–48 hours per week; 1–3 years of restaurant management experience is required. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential for growth opportunities and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others; 1-3 years management experience required; restaurant management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements including: Zaxbys Assistant Manager Development Plan, Food Safety Certification and Manager Certification.
• Enhance guest experiences by ensuring that team members satisfy and exceed guest expectations.
• Create an effective work schedule following company standards and local laws.
• Plan and delegate shift assignments including communicating expectations and adjusting as needed.
• Supervise, provide leadership, and coach team members to perform at their highest level and achieve quarterly goals.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld.
• Maintain compliance with all guidelines and safety procedures.
• Maintain positive culture and morale through recognition and leading by example.
