Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking an Assistant Restaurant General Manager (ARGM) to oversee daily operations in the RGM's absence, ensuring compliance with company standards and delivering high quality products and guest service. The ARGM will lead in guest engagement, assist RGM with hiring and development, manage schedules, maintain a safe, clean environment, and uphold food safety and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to work minimum 40 hrs/wk, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Promote positive team atmosphere; opportunities for growth/development.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations in the RGM’s absence; ensure compliance with company standards and profitability.
• Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
• Assist RGM to recruit, hire, develop, and motivate team members; manage work schedules.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable work environment; ensure a clean restaurant and functioning equipment.
• Ensure ingredients and menu items are stored, handled, and prepared with food safety in mind.
• Manage administrative responsibilities.
