Job summary

ZaxBax is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, reporting to the General Manager and ownership. You will ensure policies, procedures, and service expectations are met across the floor, kitchen, and counter.

You will train and develop staff, manage shifts, monitor guest experience, and uphold safety and compliance while fostering a positive, energetic culture at the location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Available to work 32+ hours per week and adapt to days/evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Prior leadership experience in a restaurant is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations to meet service standards on floor, in kitchen, and at counter.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to perform at their best.
• Maintain service speed, food quality, and cleanliness to guest expectations.
• Plan shift staffing, delegate tasks, and monitor performance with the General Manager.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and local laws; manage safety reporting.
