Zax LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring top guest experiences while upholding standards and policies. You will lead a team, train staff, delegate schedules, and maintain safety and quality across all shifts.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Open availability for 5 days and 32–48 hours weekly
• Flexible schedule including days/nights/weekends/holidays
• Background check completed
• Leadership qualities and cooperative teamwork
• 1–3 years management experience
• Restaurant management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete required trainings: Assistant Manager Development Plan, Food Safety, and Manager Certification
• Enhance guest experiences by coaching the team to exceed expectations
• Provide ongoing training and development for staff
• Create schedules following company standards and local laws
• Delegate shift assignments and communicate expectations
• Lead, coach, and motivate team to meet quarterly goals
• Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards
• Report performance concerns to the General Manager
• Assist with performance reviews and mentoring
• Foster a positive culture and team morale through recognition
• Handle guest and team member complaints promptly and respectfully
• Ensure processes and policies are followed daily
• Maintain compliance with guidelines and records
• Utilize management tools and keep records neat and current
• Perform other duties to ensure smooth operations
• Remain flexible to exceed position expectations
• Ensure safety procedures are followed
• Escalate concerns to supervisors when needed
