Job summary

Anchor Point Management Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a Taco Bell unit in Manteca, CA. The AGM will oversee operating hours, supervise staff, and ensure efficient, clean, and compliant restaurant operations.

The role requires at least 6 months in a supervisory position, strong communication, and reliable attendance. The AGM will coach team members, manage shifts, and help with scheduling while maintaining cash controls and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role, preferably in a service-related business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Has reliable transportation and can arrive to work on time.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and accurately take their orders.
• Prepare and package food and drink products according to restaurant standards.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change to guests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including back of house, lobby, and restrooms.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair employee treatment and compliance with workplace laws and regulations.
• Offer ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Find, hire, and develop Taco Bell employees and guide new team members during onboarding.
• Assist with any safety concerns in the workplace.
• Report serious issues to manager and HR as needed.
• Conduct daily food safety and prep audits.
• Conduct daily inventory monitors and share responsibility for cash procedures.
• Assist with schedule creation and deploying the team correctly.
• Monitor speed of service and resolve bottlenecks to achieve goals.
• Monitor inventory and food preparation daily to adhere to company standards.
• Responsible for daily inventory, deliveries, restaurant opening/closing, and staffing adjustments.
• Analyze sales, labor, inventory, and controllable expenses to meet margins and sales targets.
• Maintain cash procedures such as bank deposits, making change, opening/closing the safe, and audits.
• Assist the RGM to maintain timekeeping and payroll procedures.
