Job summary

Players Sports Bar and Grill is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Dickinson, ND location. You will oversee restaurant operations, ensure guest service excellence, and manage staffing and scheduling to meet guest needs.

You will work with the area supervisor on budgets, control costs, and drive profitability. Responsibilities include interviewing and training staff, enforcing policies, and maintaining quality, cleanliness, and compliance with laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• Experience as salaried manager in full service, casual dining preferred but not required.
• Experience with full service alcohol serving facility desirable.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, directing, and motivating a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee every aspect of restaurant operations.
• Ensure excellent guest service that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Ensure restaurant is adequately staffed to meet guest needs.
• Control day-to-day operations including cash handling and reviewing financial reports.
• Work with area supervisor to develop the annual operating budget and control all cost centers.
• Operate the business in accordance with company policies and laws.
• Interview, hire, train, and direct employees and appraise performance.
• Manage all shifts, scheduling, and planning while upholding standards.
• Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour.
• Enforce safe work behaviors and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Meet P&L and expense goals and promote suggestive selling.
