Job summary

Whataburger is seeking an Operating Partner to lead a high-volume restaurant, drive sales and profitability, and develop talent while upholding hospitality and brand standards.

You will build strong teams, champion safety, and execute strategic plans to position the restaurant for long-term success. This role is based at the home restaurant with active market leadership collaboration.

Qualifications

• Assemble and lead high-performing teams across restaurant operations.
• Demonstrate strong business and financial acumen in a multi-million-dollar setting.
• Proven track record in hospitality, guest service, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of restaurant performance including sales, profitability, and operations.
• Build, coach, and develop Restaurant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members.
• Create a culture of hospitality delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Champion food safety, workplace safety, and brand standards.
• Own staffing, recruiting, hiring, retention, and succession planning.
• Drive financial results through labor, food cost, and expense management.
• Develop and execute business plans for long-term growth and performance.
• Lead change initiatives and operational improvements.
• Foster engagement through coaching and recognition, with open communication.
• Partner with Market Leaders to share best practices and drive results.
• Represent Whataburger in the community to strengthen the brand and attract talent.
• Ensure the restaurant delivers quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
