Job summary

Super Taco in Sacramento is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Managing Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced, full-service setting. You will lead a team, ensure exceptional guest service, and uphold food quality and cleanliness while supporting growth into higher management roles.

Responsibilities include team leadership, guest resolution, inventory and vendor relations, and basic administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant supervisor or hospitality team leadership role preferred.
  • Food handler’s certification required.
  • Professional appearance with proper uniform and non-slip shoes.
  • Leadership mindset, strong motivation, and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency (POS systems, invoicing, scheduling).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for up to 70% of shift; administrative work up to 30%.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, hot kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate restaurant staff
    • Promote teamwork and communication between front-of-house and kitchen staff
    • Conduct and document regular team meetings
    • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and completing HR paperwork
  • Guest Service
    • Promptly resolve guest concerns in a professional manner
    • Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests
  • Restaurant Operations
    • Monitor compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies
    • Oversee ordering, receiving, inventory management, and vendor relations
    • Support catering events and participate in community engagement activities
  • Administrative Responsibilities
    • Assist with staff scheduling and basic computer-based administrative tasks
