Trophy Room Pizzeria & Pub at Boyne Mountain Resort seeks a Restaurant Manager to lead both front and back of house operations with a focus on people development and guest satisfaction. You’ll coach 20–30 team members, ensure quality and cost controls, and maintain a positive culture under high-volume conditions.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, menu evolution, and brand-standard adherence to deliver a standout dining experience at a premier mountain resort.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or equivalent leadership experience.
• Previous leadership experience managing a large, diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with POS software and inventory management is a plus.
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Leads with positivity; upholds restaurant culture from the top.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all front of house and back of house operations
• Develop Great People - Lead, coach, and inspire a team of 20 to 30 front and back of house team members — interviewing and hiring, conducting performance evaluations, motivating staff, and ensuring uncovered shifts are filled through intentional scheduling and clear communication. Your team’s growth is your priority.
• Excellence in Execution - Oversee all front and back of house operations with precision — monitoring food and beverage quality, presentation, and portion size to maintain consistency and control costs. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the outlet and all equipment, and properly manage purchasing, monthly inventories, and financial reporting with the VP of Food and Beverage.
• Long-Term Thinking - Develop and evolve the Trophy Room menu in alignment with brand standards, review monthly financial reports to keep expenditures within budget, and make smart, forward-looking operational decisions that protect the long-term reputation of one of Boyne Mountain’s most iconic dining destinations.
• Serve First - Ensure every guest who walks into Trophy Room has an experience worth coming back for — and that your team is equipped, energized, and ready to deliver it every single day.
• Attitude is Everything - Set the tone in the restaurant. A high-volume pub and pizzeria demands a leader who stays composed under pressure, keeps the energy positive, and makes the whole operation look effortless even on the busiest nights. Your attitude is contagious — make it count.

Qualifications

• You have an Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, plus six months to one year of related experience — or an equivalent combination of education and real-world leadership experience.
• You have previous leadership experience and are comfortable managing a large, diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• You’re proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Point of Sale software and food and beverage inventory management is a strong plus.
• You’re available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
