Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Restaurant Manager Trainee to prepare for a full Restaurant Manager role at a Circle K operated location in Gaffney, SC. You will gain hands-on experience managing day-to-day operations, people, and financial metrics under supervision.

You’ll be developing leadership skills, mastering brand standards, and ensuring food safety while delivering excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment. Training aims to promote growth into a management position within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years restaurant management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid state Driver’s License required.
• Serv Safe Manager certification preferred.
• Open availability required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Motivates, coaches, and leads team members.
• Acts with integrity and keeps commitments.
• Team player who can work with others or independently.
• Able to stand, bend, and lift during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and coach team members.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping to Brand and health standards.
• Establish production management systems and training.
• Ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor cash, sales, and inventory records accuracy.
• Communicate with district manager and complete required reports.
• Own financial and operational metrics to drive profitability.
