Job summary

Circle K in Columbia, SC is seeking a Restaurant Manager Trainee to prepare for a future leadership role in our operations. This program offers hands-on experience with day-to-day restaurant management, staff coaching, and adherence to food safety standards.

You will develop skills in guest service, onboarding, inventory control, and financial metrics while working under the guidance of our District Manager to ensure profitable store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years restaurant management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid state Driver’s License required.
• Serv Safe Manager certification preferred.
• Open availability required.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest service in a fast, friendly manner and coach team members.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard staff for all positions.
• Maintain a clean restaurant environment and delegate duties.
• Establish build to’s and manage production for timely service.
• Direct staff to follow Brand, Company and health regulations.
• Train team on Brand standards and new product campaigns.
• Oversee cash, sales, and inventory records for accuracy.
• Report to the district manager and manage daily operations.
• Own financial and operational metrics to drive profitability.
