Responsibilities

• Manages labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during the shift.
• Performs monthly review of budget and P&L.
• Builds sales by promoting customer satisfaction.
• Monitors costs by overseeing crew prep, production, and procedures execution.
• Tracks waste levels using established procedures and monitoring crew procedures.
• Communicates to General Manager or District Manager any problems in sales and profit related to shift management.
• Assists GM/DM in executing restaurant sales and profit plans.
• Monitors food costs to minimize waste and theft.
• Monitors product quality by talking with customers during walk-throughs and evaluating crew performance.
• Trains crew to respond promptly to customer needs and to demonstrate courtesy.
• Takes service times and improves efficiency.
• Trains crew in customer courtesy and handling feedback.
• Establishes and communicates daily SOS goals.
• Trains crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness and follows cleaning plans.
• Directs crew to correct cleaning deficiencies.
• Trains crew on new products and supports training of new managers.
• Cross-trains crew for flexible shift coverage.
• Recognizes high-performing crew members for promotion consideration.
• Follows flowcharts to ensure prep and production goals are met.
• Monitors inventory levels to ensure product availability and performs weekly product intake.
