Job summary

Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe is seeking a store manager to lead daily operations in Owens Cross Roads, AL. You will oversee staffing, cost control, and guest experience, while partnering with the GM to meet financial targets.

The role requires 1–3 years of management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to train and motivate a team. This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of management experience
• Strong leadership, communication and guest-service focus
• Ability to train, develop and motivate a team
• Knowledge of P&L and cost-control fundamentals
• Food Manager’s certification or ability to obtain shortly after start

Responsibilities

• Review store’s P&L, assist in scheduling and meet cost goals
• Master menu and product knowledge
• Lead serving guests and build meaningful connections
• Oversee restaurant and team performance
• Set shift tone and give clear directions to staff
• Supervise and mentor staff, manage training and evaluations
• Support kitchen operations when needed
• Assist GM with interviewing and onboarding new employees
• Follow cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintain Health Department standards and alcohol handling policies
• Ensure proper food handling and storage and maintain hygiene standards
