Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Restaurant Manager in Gainesville, FL to oversee daily dining room operations and ensure outstanding resident and guest experiences. You will coordinate with other department managers, enforce policies, and lead staff engagement while being on the floor during meal service.

The role requires at least three years of progressive responsibility in relevant settings and a commitment to high service standards within a large senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise the daily operations of the dining rooms and restaurants to ensure residents and guests have a pleasant dining experience.
• Work in conjunction with other department managers and enforce all policies including appearance, attendance, punctuality, service standards, and completion of duties.
• Hold regular department meetings and drive employee engagement and retention; manager must be on the floor during meal service.
