Job summary

Nando's Washington, DC is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and uphold the Nando's experience. You will manage the team on the floor, ensure service consistency, and protect the brand standard across all shifts.

You will coach staff, drive KPI targets, manage scheduling, and supervise food safety and guest satisfaction initiatives to create warmth and hospitality with every guest.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of restaurant management experience.
• Proven ability to lead full shifts, including deployment, breaks, and peak-time operations.
• Demonstrated track record delivering KPIs (sales, labor, quality, speed).
• Experience hiring, onboarding, and training team members.
• Experience managing inventory, ordering, prep, and food safety routines.
• Proven ability to resolve guest issues and support team conflict resolution.
• Experience maintaining compliance with food safety, health department, and brand standards.
• Track record of developing team members into new roles or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-floor operations during shifts, setting the tone for service.
• Coach and develop team members; uphold SOPs and brand standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and handle issues with empathy and judgment.
• Oversee cash handling, safety procedures, and daily financial processes.
• Maintain hygiene, temperatures, labeling, and allergen controls.
