Whataburger is seeking a Restaurant Manager in Austin, TX to lead a high-volume restaurant and a large team. You’ll drive daily operations, uphold food safety and hospitality standards, and develop Team Members to reach their full potential.

You’ll manage sales, labor, and profitability while fostering a positive, inclusive work environment. This role offers growth through Operating Partner opportunities and a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours.
• Stand for up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience.
• ServSafe Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain during training.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations to meet quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Champion hospitality and guest service to reflect Whataburger values.
• Coach and develop Team Members to reach their potential.
• Achieve restaurant goals across sales, labor, cost, and profitability.
• Ensure food and workplace safety and brand standards are upheld.
• Lead shift transitions and maintain smooth operations across day parts.
• Support talent development, training, hiring, and retention with leadership team.
• Assist with business planning, performance reviews, and improvements.
