Job summary

Wonderyard Garden & Table in Denver seeks a Restaurant Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations, coach a diverse hourly team, and deliver outstanding guest experiences in a high-volume setting.

You will partner with the General Manager and Executive Chef to uphold service standards, control labor and costs, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This exempt, full-time role offers medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management experience in a full-service, high-volume operation.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to resolve guest concerns.
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Experience with scheduling, labor, and cost control.
• Knowledge of food safety and liquor regulations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily front-of-house operations and support overall restaurant performance.
• Coach, develop, and motivate hourly team members and supervisors.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, beverage execution, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, liquor laws, and safety standards.
• Assist with scheduling, labor management, and staffing needs.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Monitor labor and controllable costs; optimize operations.
• Complete daily manager responsibilities including shift notes and cash handling.
• Collaborate with culinary team for smooth front and back of house communication.
• Foster a positive, accountable, team-oriented culture.
• Support private events and high-volume service periods, including evenings and holidays.
