Job summary

Tiki Docks is seeking a Restaurant Manager (Hospitality Captain) to lead day-to-day operations, coach staff, and uphold brand standards. You’ll drive guest service excellence, staff development, and ensure safety and cleanliness.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, ability to stand 10 hours, read/write English, and state-required certifications. We offer a fun culture with 401K, medical insurance, and performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or High School equivalency required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Manager food safety certification or any other food/alcohol certification, as required by state law
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Being strong brand stewards and ensuring each guest receives excellent service by leading and modeling our 1-4-7 philosophy.
• Developing a strong and motivated team through recruitment, communication and training plans.
• Identify strategies to retain and develop the best Team Members.
• Leading Team Members through coaching, discipline and adherence to the brand standards
• Executing positive financial results, including but not limited to meeting sales goal and optimizing P&L.
• Ensuring that restaurant facilities are consistently meeting brand standards.
• Being aware of and abiding by food safety practices and liquor service laws, including not overserving guests or serving underage Guests.
• Ensuring compliance with all labor regulations.

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the restaurant. Responsible for teaching, training, and leading all Team Members during each shift, including coaching, counseling, and developing Team Members. They are also accountable for maximizing sales and profitability, controlling expenses, meeting budgetary constraints, handling guest complaints, and ensuring sanitation, safety, and food quality.
