Job summary

Ford's Garage in Saint Petersburg, FL seeks a Service Assistant (Vibe Setter) to help the team deliver memorable guest experiences. You will learn the brand, assist with dining room setup, and promote our menu items while complying with safety and liquor laws.

This is a full-time role with growth opportunities and access to employee discounts. Ideal candidates are English-speaking, able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Valid food safety certification or state-required certification.
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the service team to set up for success and deliver great experiences.
• Provide guests with high service standards to drive new and repeat business and avoid complaints.
• Promote products with knowledge of food, beverages, and promotions.
• Help ensure the dining room is set up safely and sanitation standards are met.
• Adhere to liquor service laws, avoiding overserving or serving underage guests.
• Complete and pass all training courses and continue education through modules.

Our Service Assistants are Responsible for:

• Supporting our service team to ensure they are set up for success to deliver great experiences
• Providing our guests with the highest level of service standards to create new and repeat business and avoid guest complaints
• Promoting our products to guests by communicating with extensive product knowledge on food, beverage and promotional menus.
• Assisting to ensure the dining room is set up perfectly for our guests while maintaining safety and sanitation standards
• Being aware of and abiding by all liquor service laws, including not overserving guests or serving underage Guests.
• Completing and passing all training courses require and continuing their education through additional training modules
