SSA Group at the Regency Towers at Panama City Beach is looking for a talented Restaurant Manager to join our team!

RESTAURANT MANAGER

Reports to: General Manager

Position Description Oversee all front-of-house operations, including bar and satellite locations, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and efficient beverage/supply management. This role champions SSA’s 452 Hospitality Program through leadership in guest experience, staff culture, and innovation in service delivery.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage all front-of-house operations.
  • Assist General Manager with administrative duties such as but not limited to, payroll completion, timesheet tracking, tip reporting, hiring, interviewing, and PDD compliance
  • Work closely with Kitchen Manager and GM on shared responsibilities, including food ordering assistance, inventory collaboration, and seasonal par adjustments.
  • Order and maintain inventory for Pepsi, Dippin’ Dots, beer/wine/liquor, bar supplies.
  • Train, supervise, and support FOH staff.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and cleanliness standards.
  • Assist Kitchen Manager and GM with inventory and ordering support.
  • Represent the unit in client-facing restaurant/bar events.

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Strong FOH operations and guest service knowledge.
  • Inventory and ordering systems for beverages and supplies.
  • Staff leadership and conflict resolution skills.
  • 2+ years of bartending experience, preferred.

Education And Experience

  • Two years of front-of-house or restaurant management experience in a busy, customer-facing hospitality environment such as a beachfront hotel, bar, or resort.
  • ServSafe or Food Handling certification preferred.

Position Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with Florida law for handling, serving, and overseeing alcohol operations in a bar or restaurant setting.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical duties associated with FOH operations.
  • Must be available to work variable shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in POS systems, beverage inventory platforms, and guest feedback tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and urgency in guest-facing environments.
  • Must possess or obtain required alcohol handling certifications based on local/state regulations.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Full-Time, non-exempt.
  • Eligible for overtime pay.
  • Vacation or Time Away From Work (TAFW) plan: up to 144 hours based on tenure.
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and other voluntary benefits for you and your family; employee premiums applicable.
  • Participation in a 401(k) program with a 15% company match (eligible after one year of employment).
  • Up to 120 hours of Paid Leave for qualifying reasons including Parental Leave and yours or your families medical conditions.
