Job description

Job Summary:
Leap Brands is seeking a visionary and dynamic Restaurant Technology Leader to oversee and control the key technology functions across our portfolio. This individual will be responsible for managing and enhancing our technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and support across our 200+ location multi-concept restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of driving innovation and efficiency in our technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
-Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company’s vision and growth objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and ensure they integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
- Primary point of contact and key partner for operating company stakeholders to help with their technology needs and vision.

-Support Management:
- Lead the Support function, ensuring efficient and effective technical support for all restaurant locations.
- Collaborate with the support team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Oversee and manage Fresh Support and it’s leadership team.

-Software Development and Management:
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of software tools and platforms, including Tools and R365.
- Lead the development of a low code/no code custom SaaS solution to replace our legacy software system as needed.
- Ensure the software solutions meet the operational needs of the restaurant concepts and enhance overall efficiency.

- IT Services Management:
- Manage IT services, including network infrastructure, hardware, and software systems across all locations.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data.
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.

-Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring professional development and growth.

-Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with executive leadership, restaurant operating partners, Fresh Board members, and other stakeholders to understand their technology needs and challenges.
- Communicate technology initiatives and progress effectively to all relevant parties.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in a technology leadership role within a larger restaurant business.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and the unique technology needs of multi-unit operations.
- Experience with software development, IT services management, and technical support.
- Experience with low code/no code development platforms is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
