Job Description

Provides leadership at the restaurant level. Directs and supports the management team and hourly staff to ensure the consistent execution of Alexandria Restaurant Partners (ARP) quality standards, operating systems, procedures, values, mission, and culture.

$60,000.00 - $90,000.00

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage and hold the restaurant team accountable for adherence to ARP’s quality standards, operating systems, and safety regulations.
  • Model and influence behavior to reflect cultural values, ensuring a safe, healthy, and guest-focused environment.
  • Develop the Restaurant Management Team and support staff development to support talent growth.
  • Achieve profitability through effective financial management.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the facility.
  • Represent and protect the ARP brand.
  • Assist with new restaurant openings as required.
Responsibilities
Quality Standards
  • Coach management on maintaining service and beverage standards.
  • Monitor food, dessert, and beverage quality; provide feedback and lead corrective actions.
  • Observe expo operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct line checks and production walks in compliance with standards.
  • Develop expert knowledge of ARP’s Food Quality Standards.
Operations
  • Maintain communication with the General Manager.
  • Ensure restaurant goals are met; coach staff accordingly.
  • Maintain properly trained staff and appropriate attire.
  • Monitor service areas and guest experience.
  • Identify operational issues and lead corrective actions.
  • Review shopper scores and implement improvements.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Manage housekeeping, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Oversee inventory and security procedures.
  • Ensure a safe environment and complete accident reports when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively among stakeholders regarding operational issues.
Financial Management
  • Understand and impact the Restaurant P&L.
  • Complete financial and payroll administrative duties accurately and timely.
People
  • Manage hiring, supervision, and development of staff.
  • Handle employee counseling and discipline as needed.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and conduct performance reviews.
  • Promote staff development and internal mobility.
  • Ensure proper documentation of personnel actions.
  • Build a culture of transparency and trust.
  • Monitor staff morale and engagement.
  • Oversee management training and leadership development.
  • Maintain positive employee relations.
Requirements
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of restaurant management in a high-volume, full-service environment.
