Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Restaurant Server Manager for a Grand Rapids, MI location. This full-time, on-site role leads about 25 servers in a dynamic restaurant and private events environment.

Responsibilities include recruiting, training, coaching, and developing the server team, leading pre-shift meetings, maintaining service standards, and addressing issues promptly. The schedule centers on Friday nights with two weekly closed days.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of restaurant, hospitality, or food & beverage experience.
• Strong full-service restaurant leadership experience.
• Proven ability to train and develop employees.
• Confident leader who is comfortable with accountability and difficult conversations.
• Hands-on, lead-by-example management style.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Toast POS experience is a plus.

A Schedule That Stands Out

The restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday. The Server Manager closes Friday night, works one additional evening until approximately 9:00 p.m., with flexibility throughout the remainder of the week.
