Job description

Job Title: Restaurant Manager at IHOP

Join to apply for the Restaurant Manager role at IHOP.

The IHOP Restaurant Manager reports directly to the General Manager and supervises the restaurant's employees. The primary responsibilities include managing front and back of house operations with a focus on profitability and sales growth, while maintaining IHOP's standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities Include:
  1. Executing financial, local marketing, guest service, and human resources objectives as per IHOP SOP and the restaurant's operations plan.
  2. Developing and maintaining professional relationships with employees and franchisee organization.
  3. Managing the restaurant floor and engaging with guests regularly.
  4. Handling guest complaints professionally and promptly.
  5. Ensuring compliance with SOP in recruitment, training, operations, food safety, sanitation, and security.
  6. Performing supervisory duties such as hiring, training, performance appraisal, rewards, discipline, and conflict resolution.
  7. Completing reports and paperwork accurately and timely.
  8. Maintaining personnel files with appropriate employment and legal documents.
  9. Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, and interpreting safety and operational documents.
  • Basic computer skills such as Email, MS Excel, and MS Word are a plus.
