Are you an experienced foodservice professional with a passion for high-volume operations, food safety, and leadership? We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Bradley International Airport (BDL). Responsibilities
  • Oversee Front and Back of House Operations: supervise, manage, and evaluate team members, providing feedback and ensuring task completion.
  • Ensure Food Quality and Safety: maintain recipe adherence, portion control, and compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Control Costs: manage food and labor expenses to maximize profitability.
  • Lead and Develop the Team: recruit, train, and guide staff; set goals; foster a positive work environment.
  • Maintain Systems and Standards: ensure compliance with policies, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Manage Inventory and Merchandising: oversee inventory, display standards, and signage.
  • Office Management: oversee funds, inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and payroll.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: assist in sales monitoring and budget analysis.
  • Problem Solving: address and escalate routine issues as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years restaurant management experience in a full-service environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems; strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to work with diverse teams and resolve conflicts.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or degree preferred.
