Beatrix is a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant, and meeting place, featuring healthy meets delicious menu options plus in-house pastries and signature cookies.

Location: Chicago

Position: Restaurant Manager

Experience: 2+ years of restaurant management in a high-volume, full-service environment

Responsibilities

• Run shifts and oversee daily restaurant operations
• Lead pre-shift meetings and oversee opening and closing procedures
• Ensure exceptional guest and employee experiences
• Guide and develop team members, fostering our Culture of Caring
• Respond promptly to guest and employee feedback
• Assist in managing costs, driving sales, and supporting financial goals
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and developing staff
• Manage inventories, place orders, and inspect deliveries
• Promote teamwork and handle challenges with tact and courtesy
• Work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
