Job summary

Stadium Brew Co. in Aliso Viejo, CA is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager to run day-to-day operations across the restaurant and bar. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’re on the floor with the team, not behind a desk.

The ideal candidate brings extensive hospitality experience, 21+ years, ServSafe or equivalent certification, strong front- and back-of-house know‑how, and excellent communication. A business or hospitality degree is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid food safety certification required (ServSafe or equivalent).
• Extensive bar knowledge required; bar management experience strongly preferred.
• Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience required.
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure.
• Strong understanding of front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• A customer-first mentality and the ability to lead by example.
• Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field is a plus but not required.

• Help manage the restaurant's operational budget.

Compensation & Perks

• $24-26/hr, commensurate with experience with potential for bonus earnings based on performance. Regular Overtime

The Role

You'll partner with the General Manager to run day-to-day operations across the restaurant and bar. This is a hands-on leadership position - you'll be on the floor with the team, not behind a desk. The right person is a positive, motivating leader with a genuine passion for hospitality.

Schedule

Must be available every Sunday and Monday. Tuesday evenings preferred. Additional days picked up as needed. May be able to work out something closer to full time, especially if taking on the Event Coordinator role. If doing so, must be available to coordinate on-site or ensure appropriate staffing for events. Ability to pick up shifts for GM when out of restaurant highly preferred.
