Job summary

Northwest x Southern Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager at Crowne Plaza Anchorage. In this leadership role, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food and Beverage Department, ensuring high standards of service and quality. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of hospitality experience, preferably in a managerial capacity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in hospitality field.
  • Previous experience as hotel manager or department manager required.
  • State Alcohol Certification or ability to obtain required.

Crowne Plaza Anchorage managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality (NSH) is currently interviewing people for Restaurant Manager! We are uniquely situated in some of the most beautiful areas of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Help us make our guests and team member experiences a #BIGDEAL.

Summary of Position

The primary purpose of this position is to direct and organize the activities of the Food and Beverage Department and to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and merchandising to maximize profits. Plan and direct the functions of the administration and planning of the Food and Beverage Department to meet the daily needs of the operations. Clearly describe, assign and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of various food and beverage sub‑departments, room service, restaurants, banquets, kitchens, steward, etc.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED; degree in hospitality or related field of study preferred
  • Must have at least 5 or more years of experience in the hospitality field
  • Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager required
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem‑solving skills
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong guest‑focused mentality
  • State Alcohol Certification required or ability to obtain one.
  • State Food Handlers required or ability to obtain one.
  • Position requires working a minimum of 40 hours per week with varied and flexible shifts/days, likely to include nights, weekends, holidays.

Paid Holidays - 6 Paid Holidays after one year of service (upon hire for salaried team members)

Both PTO and Sick leave allows Team Members to have home life balance for any reason, such as vacation, rest and relaxation, their own or a family member's illness or health concern, personal pursuits, or any qualifying reason under applicable sick and safe time laws.

Paid Time Off (PTO) is available to all Team Members after one full year of service. You begin accruing from day one! The amount of PTO you can accrue increases the longer you work with us.

Sick Leave - Available for Team Members employed in Oregon or Washington after 90 days of employment.
