Job summary

Crumbl Cookies in Hamilton, OH is seeking a dedicated Shift Lead to join our rapidly growing national bakery family. You will supervise shifts, collaborate with the General Manager, and lead a 2-6 person crew in an open-concept kitchen to ensure smooth operations and consistent, from-scratch dessert quality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prefer ServeSafe certification (or willingness to obtain it), and are available full-time Mon-Sat with Sundays off.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; ServeSafe certification or willingness to complete training.
• Previous food & beverage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead shifts with 2-6 crew members.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure smooth store operations.
• Drive quality control to produce high-quality, from-scratch desserts.
• Engage customers and inform them about new products.
• Report bakery conditions and inventory to leadership.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Shift leads do not participate in hiring or firing decisions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand during shifts.

Your Role As Shift Lead

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager and fellow Shift Leads to ensure smooth store operations.
• Supervise and lead shifts (morning, mid, or closing) with 2-6 crew members.
• Quality Control: Drive the crew to consistently produce high-quality, from-scratch desserts.
• Customer Engagement: Ensure every customer has a positive experience and stays informed about new products.
• Operational Excellence: Report on bakery conditions and inventory to leadership.
• Training and Development: Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Defined Role: Shift leads do not participate in hiring or firing decisions and do not issue disciplinary actions.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Prior experience in the food & beverage industry is preferred (ServeSafe certification or willingness to complete training).
• Availability for full-time shifts Mon-Sat, with 1 day off in addition to ALL Sundays off and many major holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Guaranteed Day Off: Crumbl Cookies is closed on Sundays.
• Prime Shifts: Availability required for Friday and Saturday shifts.
• Rotating Shifts: Shifts rotate weekly between opening & mid shifts or mid & closing shifts.
