Job summary

McDonald’s franchise restaurant is seeking a Maintenance Person to assist management in keeping the interior and exterior areas clean and the restaurant equipment in good working order. You’ll be part of the Maintenance Team, receiving training and tools to help you succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities include daily fryer oil filtration, grounds maintenance, cleaning of equipment and facilities, unloading deliveries, waste removal, lighting, and HVAC/exhaust cleaning.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant maintenance and upkeep of facilities.
• Ability to perform basic building maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Comfort with inside and outside cleaning duties and care of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Filter oil fryers daily.
• Maintain outside grounds.
• Clean equipment, windows, stock rooms and restrooms.
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week.
• Take out and empty trash compactor.
• Change light bulbs.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof debris.
