Job summary

Noodles & Company is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead and coach teams, delivering great food and welcoming guest experiences. The role focuses on steady execution, teamwork, developing others, and leading by example in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, labor management, and maintaining food safety standards, while supporting a culture of growth and accountability. Evening and weekend shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of management or leadership experience (required).
• Experience in food service, retail, hospitality, or hotel operations with restaurant management preferred.
• Ability to lead a high-performing team alongside the General Manager to achieve operational excellence.
• Demonstrated conflict-resolution skills and strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the restaurant team to drive operational excellence.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage restaurant staff and shift managers.
• Set expectations, drive accountability, and recognize team achievements.
• Follow safety, inventory, and food handling procedures to ensure standards.
