Job summary

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead our restaurant team, work closely with the General Manager, and deliver the Freddy’s Experience.

You’ll coach shift Supervisors, manage guest experiences, uphold food safety standards, and help with scheduling, inventory, and cost controls while maintaining fast, friendly service.

This full-time role offers growth toward General Manager opportunities within the franchise.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead shifts and provide clear direction to team members.
• Strong commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• As Assistant Manager, support the General Manager in leading day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Lead, coach, develop, and hold accountable Shift Supervisors and team members.
• Help recruit, hire, onboarding, training, and retention of team members.
• Ensure fast, friendly, accurate service and genuine hospitality.
• Maintain Freddy’s standards for food quality, portioning, presentation, and cleanliness.
• Monitor labor and adjust team deployment based on business needs.
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety logs are completed on time.
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, and control of labor and food costs.
