Job summary

Wendy's in Stillwater, Minnesota is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the restaurant team and uphold exceptional customer service while achieving sales and operational targets.

As a AGM, you will mentor staff, manage daily operations, schedules, training, and ensure health and safety standards, with opportunities for advancement within a national brand.

Resume minimum 1 year of AM experience and the ability to work 50–55 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service.
• Valid driver's license and access to private transportation.
• Consent to a background screening.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant daily operations under the direction of the General Manager.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls and budgeting.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Coach, counsel and develop staff and manage team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance, and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant.
