Job summary

Wendy's in Waite Park is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. You will help manage daily operations, schedules, and staffing while driving customer service and profit goals.

The AGM reports to the General Manager and will promote a positive, family-friendly environment with opportunities for training and career growth within a well-known national brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume food service concept preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent; possess all documents required by state and federal law.
• Valid driver's license in good standing; access to private transportation.
• Consent to background screening.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage your own team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the General Manager, support GM in managing restaurant daily operations.
• Oversee daily operations and maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules; interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff and managing team relations.
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant.
