LV Petroleum is hiring Restaurant Team Members for our travel center location. Roles include cooks and cashiers, with a focus on food preparation, cooking, cleanliness, and safety in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities cover ingredients prep, cooking, equipment operation, inventory, and collaboration with front-of-house staff. Flexible shifts, with emphasis on safety and quality, plus opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain focused under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen protocols and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients.
• Cooking and Cooking Assistance: Cook or assist in cooking dishes according to diner menu specifications and monitor temperatures.
• Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Restock kitchen supplies and monitor inventory using FIFO to minimize waste.
• Team Collaboration: Work with kitchen staff to meet customer demand and coordinate with front-of-house staff.
• Adherence to Procedures: Follow established cooking procedures, portion sizes, and allergen handling.
