Job summary

LV Petroleum is seeking restaurant team members to support cooks and cashiers inside our travel center. You will participate in food preparation, cooking assistance, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Roles involve kitchen duties, teamwork with front-of-house, and adherence to safety guidelines. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. Health and safety are emphasized along with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen or food prep experience preferred, but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen protocols.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: chop ingredients and set up station.
• Cooking and Cooking Assistance: cook dishes per menu and monitor temps.
• Cleanliness and Safety: keep workstation clean and follow safety rules.
• Inventory Management: assist with restocking and FIFO practices.
• Team Collaboration: coordinate with front-of-house and kitchen staff.
• Adherence to Procedures: follow portion sizes and allergen handling.
