Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC is seeking Restaurant Team Members for its travel center location. Cooks will prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and assist with kitchen setup to ensure quality and safety. Cashiers will contribute to a fast-paced guest experience by handling orders and payments efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay focused under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients.
• Cooking and Cooking Assistance: Cook or assist in cooking dishes according to menu specifications and monitor temperatures.
• Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow health and sanitation guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Restock kitchen supplies and monitor inventory; rotate stock (FIFO).
• Team Collaboration: Work with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure orders are completed promptly.
• Adherence to Procedures: Follow established cooking procedures, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
