A confidential restaurant organization in Addison, TX seeks an experienced Restaurant Industry Attorney to join its leadership team in a confidential search. This role requires strong restaurant, hospitality, franchise, employment, and corporate legal experience to provide practical, business-minded counsel.

The ideal candidate will support operations, HR, finance and executives in a fast-paced multi-unit environment, advising on leases, contracts, regulatory, and licensing matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• Experience in restaurant/hospitality franchise or multi-unit operations.
• Strong knowledge of employment and corporate law.
• Experience negotiating contracts and commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on day-to-day restaurant and business operations.
• Advise leadership on employment and labor matters, including wage and hour, employee relations, and workplace compliance.
• Support restaurant leases, real estate, contracts, vendors, and commercial agreements.
• Advise on franchise, licensing, regulatory, and operational matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of business and restaurant-related agreements.
• Help identify and manage legal and compliance risks across the organization.
• Work closely with operations, human resources, finance, development, and executive leadership.
• Coordinate with outside counsel when specialized legal expertise is required.
• Translate complex legal issues into practical recommendations for business leaders.
• Stay current on legal and regulatory developments affecting the restaurant and hospitality industry.
