Job summary

Savory Fund seeks an experienced Real Estate Counsel to join our legal team and own a high-volume portfolio of leasing and development matters across a growing multi-brand restaurant portfolio. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will partner with real estate, development, and construction teams, brand leadership, and outside brokers to secure and protect locations that drive growth.

You will lead due diligence and draft LOIs, leases, and related documents while supporting corporate matters as

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active U.S. state bar admission (Utah preferred).
• 5–10 years of commercial real estate experience, focused on retail lease negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft letters of intent, leases, and amendments for tenant portfolio brands.
• Manage lease-related documents including renewals, extensions, assignments, subleases, estoppels and related letters.
• Support site selection and development activities with title, survey, zoning, and entitlement reviews.
• Lead real estate due diligence for acquisitions, financings, and exits.
• Track critical dates and lease obligations to support lease administration.
• Develop lease templates and negotiation playbooks for portfolio consistency.
• Independently manage a high volume of real estate matters and escalate when needed.
• Assist Office of General Counsel on corporate matters and contracts.
