Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• Experience in restaurant/hospitality franchise or multi-unit operations.
• Strong knowledge of employment and corporate law.
• Experience negotiating contracts and commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on day-to-day restaurant and business operations.
• Advise leadership on employment and labor matters, including wage and hour, employee relations, and workplace compliance.
• Support restaurant leases, real estate, contracts, vendors, and commercial agreements.
• Advise on franchise, licensing, regulatory, and operational matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of business and restaurant-related agreements.
• Help identify and manage legal and compliance risks across the organization.
• Work closely with operations, human resources, finance, development, and executive leadership.
• Coordinate with outside counsel when specialized legal expertise is required.
• Translate complex legal issues into practical recommendations for business leaders.
• Stay current on legal and regulatory developments affecting the restaurant and hospitality industry.

This is an opportunity for an attorney with strong restaurant, hospitality, franchise, employment, and/or corporate legal experience to serve as a trusted legal resource to the business and its leadership team.

The ideal candidate understands the unique legal and operational challenges of a multi-unit restaurant organization and can provide practical, business-minded counsel in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Texas
• Significant legal experience, preferably within the restaurant, hospitality, franchise, retail, or multi-unit operating environment
• Strong knowledge of employment/labor and general corporate/business law
• Experience negotiating contracts and commercial agreements
• Excellent judgment and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with senior leadership
• A practical, solutions-oriented approach rather than a purely academic legal perspective
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operating environment

Compensation

$225,000–$275,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional compensation and benefits may be available as part of the overall package.
