  • Manage and track liquor licenses and health permits.
  • Prepare correspondence, summaries, and legal memos.
  • Maintain confidential files and records.
  • Manage liquor licenses, health permits, business licenses, and food service certifications.
  • Monitor renewal deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
  • Assist with regulatory filings and compliance reporting.
  • Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies as needed.
  • Assist in managing insurance documentation and certificates.
  • Support coordination of workers’ compensation and liability claims.
  • Track incident reports and support internal investigations.
  • Maintain legal files and case documentation.
  • Prepare correspondence, summaries, and legal memos.
  • Conduct basic legal research.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel.
  • Organize litigation documentation and discovery materials.
  • Assist with board materials and corporate governance documentation.

Position Overview

A growing multi-unit restaurant group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal and executive leadership team. This role will assist with contract administration, compliance tracking, licensing, risk management documentation, and general legal coordination across multiple restaurant locations.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, maintains strict confidentiality, and understands the operational realities of restaurant businesses.

Key Responsibilities
Contract & Document Management
  • Draft, review, and organize vendor agreements, lease documents, franchise agreements, NDAs, and service contracts.
  • Maintain contract database and track renewal dates and key obligations.
  • Coordinate signatures and ensure proper document execution.
  • Maintain corporate records and entity documentation.
Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
  • Manage and track liquor licenses, health permits, business licenses, and food service certifications.
  • Monitor renewal deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
  • Assist with regulatory filings and compliance reporting.
