Job summary

Pacific Catch, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across our restaurant locations. You will oversee employee relations, benefits, hiring, payroll, compliance, and HRIS data integrity, partnering with restaurant management to drive people initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years of HR experience in multi-unit hospitality, strong communication, and ability to manage confidential information; schedule is full-time exempt with occasional extended hours.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multi-unit restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Supervisory experience guiding junior HR staff or administrative team members.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal, state (California), and local labor laws, regulations, and auditing processes.
• Proficiency with HRIS databases, payroll systems (e.g., Paylocity), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Advanced writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations matters across restaurant locations.
• Lead and conduct investigations for employee relations issues with documentation and corrective actions.
• Conduct HR, payroll, benefits, labor, and compliance audits across all locations.
• Act as a Business Partner to restaurant management to communicate policies and employment laws.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
