Job summary

Pacific Catch, Inc. is seeking an experienced Front of House Team Leader to guide busy dining rooms with first-class service and hospitality. The role reports to the General Manager and requires leading the FOH team across all shifts.

This full-time hourly position includes overtime opportunities, inventory and cash procedures, and a focus on guest satisfaction while maintaining our ocean-friendly standards.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of full-service restaurant hospitality experience, with 2 years in management.
  • Proven track record of training, mentoring, and managing hourly employees.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage the restaurant and team members within company policies, aiming for guest satisfaction.
  • Provide direction, leadership and mentoring to all FOH staff during all shifts.
  • Ensure fast, accurate service with positive guest interaction.
  • Be the face of Pacific Catch, introducing food and guiding guests through ordering.
  • Conduct inventory and cash control procedures.
  • Ensure staff stations, dining areas, and seating are ready for service and clean.
  • Handle guest complaints with professional, sincere attention.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational, administrative, and HR duties.

Front of House (FOH) Team Leader

REPORTS TO

General Manager

SCHEDULE

This is a full-time, hourly position, working a 40-hour week, plus 7.5 hours of scheduled overtime. This position will work an average of 5 hours of overtime per week based on company needs; the pay scale provided includes the expected overtime rate. However, please be aware that there is no guarantee of hours for any Pacific Catch employee, as hours will be distributed based on business needs and may vary accordingly.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Effectively manage Pacific Catch, Inc. restaurant and team members within the policies and guidelines of the company, always aiming for guest satisfaction
  • Provide direction, leadership and mentoring to all FOH staff during all shifts.
  • Ensure fast, accurate service, with positive and polite guest interaction
  • Be the face of Pacific Catch, Inc.: introducing the food, inviting the guests in and helping them navigate ordering, making sure orders are fulfilled quickly
  • Conduct inventory and cash control procedures
  • Ensure that all staff stations, service areas, dining room, outdoor seating, and tables are set for the shift and that the tables and floor are clean
  • Handle guest complaints with professional and sincere attention
  • Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly operational, administrative, and HR-related duties
COMPENSATION

$24.00-$36.00 per hour. The pay scale provided includes the expected overtime rate. However, please be aware that there is no guarantee of hours for any Pacific Catch employee, as hours will be distributed based on business needs and may vary accordingly.

Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • 4+ years of full-service restaurant hospitality experience, with 2 years in management
  • You’ve managed other successful, high-volume restaurants in an innovative chain
  • You possess a proven track record of effectively and empathetically training, mentoring, and managing hourly employees
  • Technology savvy: comfortable with MS Office, Google Apps/programs, & Toast POS, use of tablets and/or handheld devices, and an understanding of social media outlets
  • Understanding of a P&L statement always looking for opportunities to improve sales or manage costs
  • Holds themselves to high standards and expects the same from their team; leads by example
  • Passionate about protecting our oceans and environment
PHYSICAL
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
