Job summary

Thirsty Turtle Seagrill is seeking a courteous Host/Hostess to welcome guests, manage the waiting list, and coordinate seating with staff. You will guide guests to the bar area during wait times and help ensure smooth flow between dining areas.

The role may require some entry-level hospitality experience. Responsibilities include handling phone requests, taking to-go orders, and assisting with payments while maintaining a clean, organized host stand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Food Handler Certification completed or in progress.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.
• Prior hospitality/food-industry experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers, manages waiting list, and directs guests to seating.
• Directs guests to bar area and communicates capacity with staff.
• Oversees table assignments and ensures tables are set properly.
• Seats guests, introduces servers, and provides menus.
• Answers phones, takes to-go orders, and processes payments.
• Thank customers and invites them to return.
